【摘要】:Thispracticecoversrequirementsandtestmethodsforthesectionalcured-in-placelining(SCIPL)repairofapipeline(4in,through60in.)bytheinstallationofacontinuousresin-impregnated-textiletubeintoanexistingpipebymeansofairorwaterinversionandinflation.Thetubeispressedagainstthehostpipebyairorwaterpressureandheldinplaceuntilthethermosetresinshavecured.Whencured,thesectionallinershallextendoverapredeterminedlengthofthehostpipeasacontinuous,onepiece,tightfitting,corrosionresistantandverifiablenon-leakingcured-in-placepipe.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOStandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Particularattentionisdrawntothosesafetyregulationsandrequirementsinvolvingenteringintoandworkinginconfinedspaces.
