【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793describesthreemethodsfordeterminingandmeasuringthemodalbandwidthofmultimodeopticalfibres(seeIEC60793-2-10,IEC60793-30seriesandIEC60793-40series).Thebasebandfrequencyresponseisdirectlymeasuredinthefrequencydomainbydeterminingthefibreresponsetoasinusoidalymodulatedlightsource.Thebasebandresponsecanalsobemeasuredbyobservingthebroadeningofanarrowpulseoflight.Thecalculatedresponseisdeterminedusingdifferentialmodedelay(DMD)data.Thethreemethodsare:?MethodA–Timedomain(pulsedistortion)measurement?MethodB–Frequency-domainmeasurement?MethodC–Overfilledlaunchmodalbandwidthcalculatedfromdifferentialmodedelay(OMBc)MethodsAandBcanbeperformedusingoneoftwolaunches:anoverfilledlaunch(OFL)conditionorarestrictedmodelaunch(RML)condition.MethodCisonlydefinedforA1a.2(andA1a.3inpreparation)multimodefibreandusesaweightedsummationofDMDlaunchresponseswiththeweightscorrespondingtoanoverfilledlaunchcondition.Therelevanttestmethodandlaunchconditionshouldbechosenaccordingtothetypeoffibre.
