【摘要】:Thisclassificationcontainspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementsforcleanliness.Withinthataspectofserviceability,eachpairofscales,showninFigs.1through5,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(seeFigs.1through5)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopic,whichoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.1through5)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitywhich,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.1through5)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanningandratingafacilityandnotforevaluatingordiagnosingit.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceabilitybutdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplimentarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.

【摘要】:Althoughitwouldbedesirabletomeasuretheextentofprofiledistortioninanyunknownsamplebyusingastandardsampleandthisguide,measurementsofinterfacewidth(profiledistortion)canbeuniquetoeverysamplecomposition(1,2,3).3Thisguide,thatdescribesamethodthatdeterminestheuniquewidthofaparticularinterfaceforthechosensetofoperatingconditions.Itisprimarilyintendedtoprovideamethodforcheckingonproperorconsistent,orboth,instrumentperformance.Periodicanalysisofthesamesamplefollowedbyameasurementoftheinterfacewidth,inaccordancewiththisguide,willprovidethesechecks.Theproceduredescribedinthisguideisadaptabletoanylayeredsamplewithaninterfacebetweenlayersinwhichanominatedelementispresentinonelayerandabsentfromtheother.IthasbeenshownthatforSIMSinparticular(4,5)andforsurfaceanalysisingeneral(6,7),onlyrigorouscalibrationmethodscandetermineaccurateinterfacewidths.Suchproceduresareprohibitivelytime-consuming.Thereforetheinterfacewidthmeasurementobtainedusingtheproceduredescribedinthisguidemaycontainsignificantsystematicerror(8).Therefore,thismeasureofinterfacewidthmayhavenorelationtosimilarmeasuresmadewithothermethods.However,thisdoesnotdiminishitsuseasacheckonproperorconsistentinstrumentperformance,orboth.1.1ThisguideprovidestheSIMSanalystwithamethodfordeterminingthewidthofinterfacesfromSIMSsputteringdataobtainedfromanalysesoflayeredspecimens.Thisguidedoesnotapplytodataobtainedfromanalysesofspecimenswiththinmarkersorspecimenswithoutinterfacessuchasion-implantedspecimens.1.2Thisguidedoesnotdescribemethodsfortheoptimizationofinterfacewidthortheoptimizationofdepthresolution.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
