【摘要】:Cartridgeadhesivesaretypicallyusedatjobsitesinawidevarietyoftemperatureranges.Theseproductsmaybeexposedtocoldtemperatures,whereoneofthelimitingapplicationfactorsiswhethertheproductcanbeextrudedfromthecartridge.Thetestmethodquantitativelymeasurestheforcenecessarytoextrudeacartridgeadhesiveatagiventemperature.Thisprovidestheformulatorwithresultsthatcanassistinformulationdevelopmentandtheenduserwithinformationforuseinselectingaproductforgeneralusage.Bymeasuring(theeaseof)extrusionfromthecartridge,thetestmethodcanalsobeusedasaqualitycontroltooltomeasuretheshelflifestabilityofaproduct.1.1Thistestmethodcoversameansofmeasuringtheamountofforcenecessarytoextrudeanadhesivefromacartridgeatagiventemperature.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
