【摘要】:1.1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestechnicalsafetyrequirementsandprotectivemeasurestobeadoptedbypersonsundertakingthedesignasdefinedin3.11ofEN292-1:1991,manufactureandsupplyofpneumaticpressestheintendeduseofwhichisthecoldworkingofmetalormaterialpartlyofmetalasdefinedin3.1.13andhereafterreferredasmachines.Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlinewherethehazardsandriskarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.1.2Thisstandardalsocoverspneumaticpresses:?whoseprimaryintendeduseisthecoldworkingofmetal,whicharetobeusedinthesamewaytoworkothersheetmaterials(e.g.cardboard,plastic,rubber,leather)andmetalpowder;?withanintermediatepneumatic/hydraulicintensifier.1.3Therequirementsinthisstandardtakeaccountofintendeduse,asdefinedin3.12ofEN292-1:1991.Thisstandardpresumesaccesstothepressfromalldirections,dealswiththehazardsdescribedinclause4,andspecifiesthesafetymeasuresforboththeoperatorandotherexposedpersons.1.4Thisstandardalsoappliestoancillarydeviceswhichareanintegralpartofthepress.Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlinewherethehazardsandriskarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotcovermachineswhoseprincipaldesignedpurposeis:a)sheetmetalcuttingbyguillotine;b)bendingorfoldingbypneumaticpressbrakesorfoldingmachines;c)spotwelding;d)tubebending;e)straightening;f)dropstamping;g)workingbypneumatichammer;h)compactionofmetalpowder.Specialpneumaticmachinesforassemblyingorcalibratingarenotcoveredbutthisstandardmaybeusedasabasisfortheremachines.1.6ThisstandarddoesnotcoverthesafetyrequirementsrelatedtotheuseofPESorPPS.Theywillbedealtwithatitsnextrevision.1.7ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomachineswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
