【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthematerialrequirementsforpreformedthermoplasticvulcanizate(TPV)elastomericjointsealsforbridges.Thesealconsistsofamultiple-webdesigncomposedofaTPVandfunctionsonlybycompressionofthesealbetweenthefacesofthejointwiththesealfoldinginwardatthetoptofacilitatecompression.Thesealisinstalledwithalubricantadhesiveandisdesignedtosealthejointandrejectincompressibles.Note18212;Thisspecificationmaynotbeapplicableforsealswhoseheightislessthan90%ofitsnominalwidth.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
