【摘要】:Themostdirectandaccessiblemethodsforobtainingthecolorcoordinatesofobjectcolorsarebyinstrumentalmeasurementusingspectrophotometersorspectrocolorimeterswitheitherhemisphericalorbidirectionalopticalmeasuringsystems.Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresforsuchmeasurementbyspectrophotometryusingabidirectional(0:45or45:0)opticalmeasuringsystem.ThemethodforcolorandcolordifferencemeasurementusingfiltercolorimetersiscontainedinTestMethodE1347.Thistestmethodisespeciallysuitableformeasurementofthefollowingtypesofspecimensfortheindicateduses(seealsoGuideE179andPracticeE805):5.2.1Object-colorspecimensofanyglosslevelforcolorassessment.5.2.2Object-colorspecimenswithphysicallyflat,smoothsurfacesfromwhichtoobtaindataforuseincomputercolorantformulation.5.2.3Retroreflectivespecimens.Note18212;Toensureinter-instrumentagreementinthemeasurementofspecimenswithintermediategloss,forformulation,orofretroreflectivespecimens,significantlytightertolerancesthanthosegiveninPracticeE1164,InfluxandEffluxConditions,45x00B0;:Normal(45:0)andNormal:45x00B0;(0:45)ReflectanceFactorsection,mayberequiredfortheinstrumentanglesofilluminationandviewing.Informationontherequiredtolerancesisbeingdeveloped.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedformeasurementofspecimenswithbaremetalsurfacesforcolorassessment,forwhichtheuseofhemisphericalmeasurementgeometry,aswithanintegrating-spheretypeinstrument,ispreferable(seeGuideE179).1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheinstrumentalmeasurementofthereflectionpropertiesandcolorofobject-colorspecimensbyuseofaspectrophotometerorspectrocolorimeterwithabidirectionalopticalmeasuringsystem,suchasannular,circumferential,oruniplanar45:0or0:45geometry.1.2Thistestmethodisgenerallysuitableforanynon-fluorescent,flatobject-colorspecimen.Itisespeciallyrecommendedformeasuringretroreflectivespecimensandspecimensofintermediategloss.1.3ProceduresrequiredforthemeasurementoffluorescentobjectcoloraregiveninPracticeE991andPracticeE2153.1.4ProceduresrequiredforthemeasurementofcolorusingfiltercolorimetersarecontainedinTestMethodE1347andthisstandarddoesnotaddressthoseinstruments..Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
